Fiber Geometries CHI's standard fiber is circular in cross-section. We can also produce square and hexagonal fiber preform cross-sections, and our in-house glass shop can create even more complicated geometries. Preforms, both for single and multi-fiber structures, generally retain their geometry during the draw process.
